1. Promoter
The promoter is VenuD ("Promoter", "we", "us"). Contact: hello@venud.com.
2. Promotion period
The promotion opens when the entry form at venud.app/#giveaway is first published and closes at 14 September 2026 at 11:59 pm AEST (Australia/Sydney), or earlier if the Promoter ends the promotion in accordance with these terms. Entries received after the closing time are invalid.
3. Eligibility
- Entrants must be 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
- Entrants must be residents of Australia.
- Employees of the Promoter, agencies directly involved in running this promotion, and their immediate family members are not eligible.
- One registration per person (unique email and Instagram handle). Additional tickets may be earned as described in section 4.
4. How to enter
To enter, during the promotion period an eligible person must complete all of the following:
- Pre-register on venud.app/#giveaway with a valid email address, full name, and Instagram handle.
- Follow the Promoter on Instagram (@venud_aus) and like/follow the Promoter's Facebook page (Facebook).
- Tag two (2) friends in a comment on either the official giveaway Instagram post (open Instagram post) or the official giveaway Facebook post (open Facebook post). Only one platform is required for this step.
Bonus tickets: when a tagged friend pre-registers on the website, follows the Promoter on Instagram, and nominates the entrant's Instagram handle as the person who tagged them, the original entrant receives one (1) additional ticket (subject to verification). Completing the required entry steps above earns one (1) base ticket. Bonus tickets are capped at fifty (50) per entrant. The Promoter may adjust ticket counts where referrals cannot be reasonably verified, or where fraud or abuse is suspected.
Entry steps completed on Instagram/Facebook are self-declared on the website and may be verified by the Promoter against Instagram or Facebook comments, Insights, and related records before a winner is drawn. Incomplete or unverifiable entries may be excluded.
5. Prize
There is one (1) prize: a night-out experience in Sydney with a total value of up to AUD $5,000, fulfilled as venue credits, bookings, and/or experiences arranged by the Promoter with partner venues (or a substantially similar experience of equal value). The prize is not redeemable for cash, is not transferable, and excludes travel to/from Sydney, accommodation (unless expressly included), and any costs not approved in writing by the Promoter. Blackout dates and availability of partner venues may apply. The winner must be able to redeem the prize in Sydney within twelve (12) months of being notified, unless otherwise agreed.
6. Winner selection & notification
The winner will be selected at random from registrations that the Promoter has marked as verified after the promotion closes, weighted by each entrant's ticket count (base ticket plus verified bonus tickets). The draw will be conducted in Australia on 16 September 2026 at 12:00 pm AEST (Australia/Sydney) (or as soon as reasonably practicable thereafter if delayed by verification). The winner will be contacted via the email and/or Instagram handle provided within seven (7) days of the draw. If the Promoter cannot reasonably contact the winner within fourteen (14) days, or the winner does not claim the prize within the time stated in the notification, the Promoter may redraw from remaining verified entries. The winner's first name / Instagram handle and suburb may be published on the Promoter's social channels and website.
7. Verification & disqualification
The Promoter may request proof of age, identity, and residency, and may verify follows, likes, and tagged comments. The Promoter may disqualify entries that are incomplete, fraudulent, generated by bots, use multiple accounts to gain an unfair advantage, or breach these terms or Instagram/Facebook platform rules.
8. Privacy
Personal information collected for this promotion (including name, email, Instagram handle, city, and how you heard about us) is used to administer the promotion, contact the winner, and — where you have opted in by entering the pre-register funnel — to communicate about the VenuD app and related services. We will not sell your personal information. Contact hello@venud.com to request access or correction.
9. Liability
Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees, and agents) excludes all liability for any loss, damage, or personal injury arising in any way from this promotion or the prize, including where caused by the Promoter's negligence. Nothing in these terms limits rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
10. General
- The Promoter may amend these terms or suspend/cancel the promotion if circumstances outside its reasonable control make continuation impractical, subject to any applicable law or permit conditions.
- These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
- This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, Meta, or Facebook. By entering, you release Instagram / Meta from any related claims.
