Terms of Service

Using VenuD

Last updated: 5 September 2026

1. Agreement

By creating an account or using venud.app you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Venue owners who claim a venue also accept the Partners commercial terms provided at claim.

2. The service

VenuD helps people discover venues, check in, order, and plan nights out, and helps venues run marketing, menus, and guest tools. Features change as we ship. We do not guarantee that a specific venue, offer, or booking will be available.

3. Your account

  • You must be 18 or older to create an account.
  • Keep your login details safe. You are responsible for activity on your account.
  • Do not abuse the service (fake check-ins, scraping, harassment, or circumventing safety tools).

4. Orders and payments

In-app orders are placed with the venue. Card payments are processed by Stripe (including Stripe Connect for venue payouts). Refunds and disputes follow the venue's policy and Stripe's rules. Platform fees are disclosed at checkout where they apply.

5. Marketing and ads

Venues may run campaigns inside VenuD (Boost) and may connect an advertising account (for example Meta) so that real arrivals and orders can be sent as conversion events. VenuD does not auto-spend a venue's ad budget: paid-media campaigns created through the Partners portal start paused and require the venue to approve go-live. Consumer preferences for ad-platform sharing are described in the Privacy Policy.

6. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, VenuD is not liable for venue service, food or drink quality, or nights that do not go to plan. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
